Custom Proposals:

The pricing of flowers for a wedding is one of the hardest questions to answer.  It depends on many factors including the complexity or size of the design, the specific blooms being used, number of arrangements, set up, strike, etc. Aside from that, it is also a unique art form and takes time and care to create. Therefore, we create custom event proposals based on our clients’ needs and scope. To get started with the quoting process please fill out our QUESTIONNAIRE or CONTACT US directly. 

Are we (the bride) allowed to provide our own vases for centerpieces? 

~Generally, we only use vases that we source from our suppliers and occasionally vases from a reputable rental company. We do not use vases for centerpieces supplied by the bride. We have an extensive line of rental vases, to help keep costs down, and vases available to purchase for guests to take home. We are happy to adorn flowers with specialty props that you may have or have rented from a rental company.

 

Do You Provide In Person Consultations?

~Clients may receive 1 complementary consultation at our home based studio not to exceed 1 hour. Additional consultations or site visits will be charged at our normal hourly rate. 

 

Do you provide sample arrangements and site visits?

~Sample arrangements can be provided upon request and will be charged at the same price as the arrangement listed in your quote. Site visits are available depending on our availability and will be charged by an hourly rate plus a standard travel fee.

 

What is your service area?

~ We focus on Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties but have traveled to Los Angeles and Central California for weddings as well! (would love to do a destination wedding elsewhere if we have any takers! )

 

Do you offer rentals?

~ Yes! We offer a wide variety of rental vases, urns, candle votives, two arches, and a chuppah rental. Please inquire for our latest rental inventory. A strike/pick-up fee may be applied; this fee may be waived if the client returns the rentals to our studio.

 

Does Your Delivery Fee Include Set Up at the Venue?

Yes! Our delivery fee includes any specialty set up needed for any given arrangement at the designated delivery time only if tables or other rentals are set up at the time of delivery. Otherwise, we will find a place to put the arrangements so that a coordinator or person designated by the client can place them on tables when they are ready. 

 

Have you worked at my Venue before?

~ We have provided flowers for many of the venues in Santa Barbara and Ventura County areas but we know there are countless venues to choose from in this area, it is the #1 place to get married in the USA afterall! If we have not worked at your venue we are happy to do schedule a site visit for a minimal fee.

 

How far in advance should I reserve my date with Emily Reynolds Design?

~The sooner, the better. We recommend reserving your date 6-12 months in advance for our peak wedding season (April-October). Even so, please don’t hesitate to contact us if it is 1-6 months prior to your wedding.

Pricing varies greatly depending on the complexity/size of the design, the specific blooms being used, number of arrangements, etc. Therefore, we create custom event proposals based on our client’s need and scope. Please contact us to discuss your event vision.

You are welcome to schedule a consultation with us at any time during the quoting process. At our consultation, we will discuss and view the flowers and style of arrangements that appeal to you and what you are wanting for your wedding flowers. When you decide to book us, we require a signed contract and deposit to reserve your date.

It is important to know we book a select amount of weddings each month. Doing this allows us to focus on the things that really matter to us-providing outstanding quality of work and service. This allows us to hand craft each important item for your wedding with fresh creativity.

Emlily Floral is so Awesome!

Emily did such an amazing job for the flowers for our wedding. It was more than I had expected. From the first time we met Emily, she was so nice and professional and with just a few questions was able to capture everything I wanted to have for the arrangements. Everything I had Dreamed of…

Emily did an amazing job with my bouquet and my maid of honor’s bouquet. We did all communication through email since I do not live in the area, and even though we never met before the wedding day, the bouquets were still everything I wanted and had pictured. She worked with me to make sure everything was right. She even hand delivered the bouquets to our venue in order to ensure freshness! I am so pleased with her work.

Absolutely Perfect

If this review had to be short and sweet, all I would say is don’t use ANYONE ELSE! Seriously, Emily should do all weddings all the time. She has this business down pat. What initially drew me to Emily is that she was willing to work with my budget. All other florists basically told me I was dreaming if I wanted anything decent for the budget I had in mind. Emily set up a consultation with us, got our information, and never once frowned at our desired budget. She just kept throwing idea after idea out about how best to use the budget and get the best bang for our buck, including letting us know that if we didn’t have particular flowers in mind, she could just stick with our colors when the time came and she’d use the buds that she had most of to help stretch our budget. And she NAILED IT. Seriously, knocked it out of the park. The bouquets were stunning, truly they were. My bridesmaids loved them, and the bridal bouquet was exquisite. Simple yet elegant. She’s just the best. Plain and simple. Use her!
